Pocahontas Inspired Look

Hey Everyone :)

Today's look was inspired by my favorite Disney character Pocahontas. I remember watching the show when i was younger and although i knew she was fictional, I thought she was so beautiful!

At the time she was one of the few characters on Disney that was closest to African skin. I find myself often inspired by my childhood thus the reason for this look.

Step 1. Contour and highlight face

I started off with #Mac #Studio Tech #NC45 to highlight cheeks T-zone, bridge of the nose and chin. For this step, it is important to use a foundation brush to outline the parts that you want to stand out.

A darker shade of foundation #Mac #Studio Tech #NW47 to give definition to the nose and cheek bones.

Step 2: Suzie Beauty powder SB40 to set the make up

Step 3: Around the eyelids, i mixed in gold shadow from the ELF pallet paired with Orange from Mac and with matte chrome yellow from Mac in the inner corners of the eyes

To line the top part of the eye I used Mac Fluidline gel eyeliner
Next, I used blue eyeshadow from #Mac Electric Eel to line the bottom of the eye and extend outwards to create a wing.

Step 4:#Suzie Beauty Terracotta as a bronzer for the cheeks and plum also from Suzie Beauty to add a rosy feel to the cheek bones

And Viola!

Finally, Step 5: For the Lips I paired up Golden Rose Bobbi Brown lipstick with Revlon Sp15 super lustrous gloss
